Dr. Clifton Underwood – holds a B.S. in criminal social justice, a M.S. in criminal social justice and an Ed.D. in organizational leadership from Argosy University, Chicago. He is currently retired from the Chicago Police Department with years of experience in both the Patrol and Detective Divisions. He was also the program coordinators for two of the largest youth programs in Chicago for the last 12 years and worked as an adjunct professor of Criminal Social Justice at Lewis University, in Romeoville Illinois.
Dr. Underwood is the former President of the Board of Directors for the South Shore Drill Team, and a current member of the advisory board of the Illinois College of Optometry, and several organizations which promote literacy and community awareness to residents of the south side of Chicago. He is the author of the book, "Fulfilling Restorative Justice Efforts" which deals with the justice system and at risk minority juveniles.
